It’s Cold on an Airplane

If you’ve ever been to Florida in the summer you might have noticed that many businesses keep their air conditioning extremely cold to fight the heat. Airports and airplanes are no exception. Even in summer, you are going to find most flights to be rather chilly.

Passenger comfort is of the upmost importance to the airline industry. Airlines are trying hard to improve and invest in their product to attract more customers. The temperature inside the cabin is optimized for the greatest number of passengers but it really all depends on how you are dressed.

The best way to deal with a cold airplane is to come prepared. Long pants, as well as socks and shoes are a must. It’s also a good idea to bring a sweater or jacket and, if you have the space, a small lightweight blanket. If you are traveling with children make sure you bring warm clothes for them as well.
